At Floaties Swim School you don’t need to be a serious swimmer to achieve that toned physique most people envy. For centuries, the benefits of exercising in water have been hailed as a way to reduce stress, recover from injury and increase strength and endurance. Exercising in the warm water provides a soothing environment, while the waters’ resistance and buoyancy allows for injury-free workouts. We offer two levels of classes:
This gentle, low impact class in designed for our expectant woman, clients recovering from injury or beginning an exercise program.
For a great workout that will increase your cardiovascular strength and muscular endurance, this class is for you. A challenging mix of cardiovascular intervals combined with strength training with get your blood pumping, heart racing and body sweating.
Both classes use a variety of tools, ranging from lightweight dumbbells, noodles and kickboards to add variety and intensity.
